He would still be PM, although since not having a seat in the house would limit his effectiveness, another conservative MP would probably resign their seat so he could win it in a byelection (usually these are done in safe ridings).
For a similar example, see the current PM, who was sworn into the office in March, but didn't win a seat until last night.
