People I know IRL think I’m a bitcoin psychopath.
The reality is that because I care about myself, my family, my future, and others, I eschew the high time preference lavish immediate gratification lifestyle my peers expect me to join in on.
But I believe in moderation too. And over the next decade as I begin to enjoy the fruits of my stacking, I hope people remember how “weird” I was and remember that was by acting differently that I have earned my rewards. I told everyone about bitcoin and tried to bring many along with me, but I fear backlash will be strong…in inverse proportion to my success in orange pilling.
