I tried your suggestions to no avail, the martix section still is glitchy, but I loaded the Exert Records preset pack and the sounds are exactly as they are supposed to be, so I'm happy about that.
I will add though that the native Linux CLAP version of Vital sounds fucking MENTAL, it sounds better than it does on Windows.
