"content": "#MusicWomenWednesday\n\nDuke music professor Anthony Kelley, during the Covid lockdowns, watched a documentary where the Duke Wind Symphony was practicing new music by MARY LOU WILLIAMS. In 1981, she was Duke's first artist in residence. \n\nKelley had never seen the music to this work, though. He started to hunt for it. An interview where he tells his story is below.
