I love the flavor of malt sugar. Always have. Malted milk ball candy, malts instead of milkshakes.
Was horrified at how little actual malt was in the last Carnation-brand 13oz jar of malted milk powder I bought on impulse. Ingredient shrinkflation has hit them hard, especially their chocolate flavor.
So I ordered a five pound bag of powdered barley malt from my bulk food source. It's insanely cheap and ridiculously delicious, with a fresh strong malt flavor.
