Today ends the 6th week of the Artist's Way for me. It's been a really interesting adventure and I feel lighter and more attuned to my spiritual self even with feeling very silly a lot of the time now. It's nice!
The beginning was the hardest, the morning pages were heavy and hard to process stuff. But now that it's out it hasn't weighed on my mind so much.
The artist dates are sincerely joyful. It's nice to take purposeful breaks from social media and chores and job applications and all the drudgery of normal life.
It's a 12 week program. Already I can see the benefits of continuing these habits. Maybe with more consistent practice I'll grow as an artist 🎨🧶👩🎨🌌
