i have been looking at tech in this area that does this on a permanant basis. the reliance on the mobile (SIM)/internet for everything is hugely concerning.

somewhere down the line, the internet will be compromised internationally, on a massive scale for a period of days maybe weeks.
when restablished the dysptopian options will be pushed front and centre. "safe and effective"

hope for the best
technologies like graphene and citrine find ways to communicate offline again. Nullifying effects of mobile/internet outages.
