I hate that the news industry has devolved into 'you must sign in to read this article' or 'you must pay to read this article'. I also hate that 'ads' are the 'only' other way to fund sites.
I wish I could pay without requiring a login/cookie to read, and thus be tracked and allowing some sort of data harvesting / selling.
I think this is where Newspaper did really well. You could throw out the entire ad section and you could share it.
