The not a fan of the become a paid subscriber because if everyone does it, it becomes to expensive to subscribe to every podcast. I've never subscribed to a single podcast and not plans to.
I'm also not a fan of those sneaky advertisements where the podcast is talking about the topic then sneakily starts talking about a product. I eventually lose interest in those type of podcasts.
I think the nostr model is better where we can listen to it for free and we can zap an amount of our choice.
Fountain and WavLake are the future, You can listen to the song and zap. I also think maybe in the future artists should demand to the app developer where if you listen to a song over 50% it should automatically deduct some sats so the artist and app can make money.
We also need a YouTube replacement so anyone can upload their podcast and users can zap.
I also noticed your website doesn't have a way to zap each individual podcast. Might be good to add that but of course where do most people listen to podcasts? Probably not on someone's website but still might be good to ad.
