If someone wants to become a Bitcoin Influencer for the next 50 million or so Americans to join the network, here is the formula: channel the energy of Occupy Wall Street. Focus on how “unfair” everything is. Acknowledge and coddle people victimhood. Blame “capitalism” but make sure you carefully define that as big banks enabled by big government in support of the biggest generation (boomers are the enemy).

Redefine “progressive” in Austrian Economics terms. “All value is subjective just like your precious identity”. Sneak freedom in the back door. Promote the idea that the way to fight back against “capitalism” is to quit using “their money” and start using the people’s money. Call your listeners comrade. (I think they like that.)

The premise here is that a whole segment of millennials and younger are confused about why the bottom rungs are missing from the ladder because public education misdirected their angst. They blame “capitalism” and praise “democratic socialism” without knowing what those terms mean. Don’t attack the terms. Find the things you agree with them on and blaze a trail from where they are to the righteous promise land of a bright Bitcoin future.
