I feel you, and thank you for speaking your mind.
It always bugged me that the real support (like: real!) often comes from a few people in the shadows (if at all). (or even sh**coiners, who sometimes act more like bitcoiners than some rats in the bitcoin community, who only take and take, never do anything, unless they get a free meal or a free ticket out of it.
The funding of a lot of good people and good projects is mostly dismal.
The V4V model is broken as f (and when you honestly do your story about that, the people get shunned or banned outright by "the suits").

The sad part that bitcoin often attracts people who still don't get it. And rather send Peter Shiff some bitcoin from their vanity address than supporting people that matter and build, or do whatever it takes for bitcoin.

I'm seeing more and more people just "writing books" (even people who don't have anything to tell other than "buy my stuff"), while others can't even scrape together enough money to make a living.
And yes, we're all supposed to be "rich" and "sitting on a stash". But most don't. And it's hopeful that people like you dare to speak up, only this way can a community grow and do something more than thinking "pump my bags".
