"content": "You could make an association so that languages that don't use the latin alphabet use different font files. Then just reload the font files when you load the language file. Your game is still limited to 256 glyphs but most writing systems will only need a few dozen glyphs anyways. Especially if you make your print routine support a special character (ie \u003c32) that will go backwards one glyph so as to allow layering glyphs.",
