GM Nostr , I want to post about what news caught my Eye today, but I just don't have the energy.
So I won't provide links or even where I saw it, but here is what caught my eye.
A near miss , a ship lost power near new york, new jersey harbor.
The picture showed it near a bridge. Tugs escorted it away.
A new AI scam, AI creates a law firm letter, sends it to website owners about a bogus copyright claim and demands attribution with a malicious link.
5 days ago Nate the Lawyer on youtube covered news, but the algorithm just showed it to me today. A Texas towns leadership was gutted by an FBI investigation. Sounds like the Feds caught one person and they kept flipping people until the mayor was taken down. It started with kickbacks in the school system buildings and ended with drugs seized, cartels, etc. I am sure the most common charges will be lying to the FBI and RICO will be prevalent with many more. The mayor and two school board members went down. The most corrupt town.
