This article has many good points. One interesting point is the possibility of #bitcoin becoming a measure for other currencies (e.g. x dollars is y satoshis, x euros is y satoshis) - it makes sense. This could happen because of some propeties of bitcoin (e.g. it's global, transparent, uncensorable, anyone can use it). Bitcoin would be equally fair to anyone and in practice there's no actor able to tamper it.
One point for why bitcoin is not just some fun crypto boi money but can be actually important is the personal story found in the "In closing" section.
