When I first spun up my instance a year or two ago, it took about five seconds for actual cancer from some "Detroit Riot City" server to start showing up in my Federated feed from relays.
I loaded up the old "Fedinuke" list to block the worst of the worst after that. Anything more tends to block because "I disagree".
Since then, I just block when I see an actual problem. I've only added 4 or 5 servers to my list since then.
