There are subtle elements that I place in stories quite often that I doubt people will note, but you never know. I don’t spend a lot of time on it, but it’s fun.
I also don’t keep track of them.
Technically unrelated…
What’s even more fun is writing a series & the characters make a joke about something earlier in the series. If someone has read all the books then they’ll get it. That’s rewarding.
