I just don't feel I can do either node justice. I've got Alby Hub up and running, so there's my window into business conducted in Bitcoin/Lightning. But running a real node, I don't have a computer I can leave on all the time, so I'm doing the network(s) a disservice..
I was kind of bummed out about Alby Hub.. I had the shared extension wallet and had no choice but to migrate to the Hub and since I was comfortable with the shared wallet, I figured, what the heck. As I started reading a little, somehow I thought the Hub was a full on Lightning node.. I think I just assumed. Then one of the very very helpful tech support people happened to mention they've set fees so high, no one in their right mind would send a payment through the Hub. My dream dashed before I could think about it!!
I find Nostr perfect for a simpleton like me.. Let me rant and rave about free markets & free people navigating the Creative Chaos of Capitalism!!
