If the government really wanted to do something about illegal immigration “stealing American jobs,” they would prosecute the owners of large industrial food processors, but that would be bad for business, so instead they send the gestapo into Los Angeles because it looks more sensational for the cameras.
Also, go find enough American citizens willing to do the field and factory labor that the immigrants would be leaving behind.
