One thing that happens when you spend twenty years writing 7,000 posts on a sex blog: double entendres become automatic in your writing. When choosing between two words, or two metaphors, you'll pick the one with the most salacious connotations and lewd associations. It's conscious in the sense of knowing that I'm doing it -- you could even call it a job skill -- but it doesn't require specific extra thought or work.

Sometimes this bleeds over into my other writing. Which can make things weird.
