If you absolutely must keep an active #Bitcoin key at your residence, hide it in plain site amongst dozens of collected hardware devices. Mark the crate "crypto workshop" or something similar.

This is preferable to hiding a key in a "secret hiding space" that authorities will find if they really want to.

Go for maximum plausible deniability vs larping as Jason Borne. You can always say you don't remember the PIN because you regularly wipe devices as part of your hobby so it's not important to you.
