Through all of the canyonlands of the Southwestern US, this viewpoint is among my favorites. But it's also a testament to the consequences of visitors behaving badly. If you know where this is, you know that it's on tribal land that historically required a permit to access, but that the area has been closed since late 2019 due to people visiting without permits and for trashing the area. I captured this photo in early 2019, before the area was closed, by going through the proper permitting process and leaving no trace.
