Yeah. I know one woman who decided she was going to leave her teaching job in China. She basically had to smuggle herself out of there. The plane ticket she bought for herself mysteriously ceased to exist. Luckily her mom was able to buy her one while she was at the airport.
Meanwhile in Saudi people I know are like "yeah it's super nice, they keep you in a compound!" Bruh. I'm not going anywhere where I need to be kept in a compound.
