Even though I understand that for the vast majority of people it is a completely commonplace thing that happens, I do not think I will ever really accept how slaughterhouses and meat eating are normalized. The idea of raising millions of animals from birth, helping them grow and thrive to then take them somewhere to be industrially killed in an assembly line will forever be absurd to me.
