Immigrants contribute to the economy by paying taxes on goods and income. Thus machine to generate more revenue is failing miserably.
The dollar you earn here is devalued and worth significantly less than in the USA and in Europe so any grand hopes of enjoying vacation (if you can afford it) kinda traps you to staying in Canada.

Government supports monopolies on telecoms, groceries and media.
No wonder people are leaving. My family are leaving when our parents die.
