i never used Facebook so can't compare but certainly all NOSTR clients have some work to do before they work as i would like them to.
there was hope once for NoStrudel but hzrd149 (npub1ye5…knpr) has turned into you, namely now doesn't care about interface ( or at least my brilliant suggestions about it LOL ) and wants instead to contribute things closer to the protocol itself.
anyway the pain points with NOSTR for me right now are Fediverse and Alby
i don't remember who brainwashed me into using Alby but i hate that fucking garbage and hate how it is integrated into NoStrudel
and both on NoStrudel and Gossip Fediverse content still doesn't look right ( doesn't look like on the Fediverse )
the fact that every client is different and everything changes all the time is annoying but cannot be considered a negative, as it is also the strength of NOSTR.
things are also broken on NOSTR a lot more often than on Big Tech but luckily they are never all broken at the same time so there is always at least some level of functionality available, never 100% down.
just wish more developers would realize my opinions are always objectively correct and would build everything in accordance with my personal taste.
