if you use it while understanding the design parameters it’s probably fine, unless you’re very constrained by size or perf. The main issue used to be not knowing if different implementations had variances which broke your assumptions, or needing to step outside the standard behaviour for some reason. Maybe that’s got better over the years? Since coming back to C++ I’ve been using UE’s containers. I never liked the way STL turns simple compile errors into long form essays though
