It sounds basic but it’s incredibly effective in my pov. It removes the dopamine triggers of vibrant app icons, notifications, and endless scrolling.
Result?
You use your phone more intentionally.
You stop mindlessly checking social media.
Your screen becomes boring and that’s the point.
You reclaim your time and attention.
iPhone: Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Color Filters > Grayscale
Android: Settings > Digital Wellbeing > Wind Down > Grayscale
Try it for a day. You might be surprised how much time you save.
