I follow some dudes on podcasts (or talky YouTube) for analysis of global economic and military affairs. (I was a policy nerd long before I was a blogger.) Most of these people make their money as consultants and paid speakers, globetrotting around from gig to gig.
My pattern-finding brain has found a pattern: Whenever they go quiet for a few days longer than expected, they'll admit to (or show signs of) Covid upon their return.
Not every time, no. But the pattern has major predictive power.
