the problem with being a really good coder is that when you see a near-insurmountable issue you can't just give up, you have to waste lots of time trying to find a solution because it's juuuust out of reach
(I spent 4 days on a defect that didn't even on a repo i worked on, though that part I realized yesterday - still didn't give up until i found a solution)
