This maze is titled T I M E and is a piece that I made for my mentor - ๐ง ๐ ๐ ๐ stands in reference to his daily prayer โ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ๐บ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐๐๐.โ
The mazeโs starting point is the golden sphere at the base of the Cross. It is designed as a โclosed mazeโ in that the starting point is fully contained within the maze itself to symbolize the all-encompassing nature of the Creator.
The red around the outer ring that frames the Cross is symbolic of Christโs sacrifice for humanity. There are 7 large red โdropletsโ that drip down to signify โall things in Christ,โ while also evoking the 7 Days of Creation and the 7 Heavenly Bodies that can be perceived with the naked eye (Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Moon, Mars, and Jupiter). Further, the 7 smaller dripping โdotsโ found between the droplets are there to remind us of the wider and unknowable mysteries of God and Creation.

Throughout the work there are found many groupings of 3 which are reference to the Holy Trinity and also to the astronomical trinity of Sun, Earth, and Moon. The 4 spheres found in each segment of the Cross speak to the 4 quarters of the Moon, the 4 phases of life, the 4 directions of the compass, and the 4 elements (Fire, Air, Water, Earth) which frame manโs understanding of the natural world and are the foundation of the natural sciences and technological progress. Finally, considering the concept of ๐ง ๐ ๐ ๐ in the literal sense, the 3 rings that frame the center of the Cross are reference to Past, Present, and Future all held within the Oneness of God.
