I can buy 3,077 steaks (before tax)
My wage 2023 £44,000. Great I'm richer on paper by 10%.
But wait the price of 300g grass fed & finished beef fillet steak at my local farmers is now £19.50, a 50% increase.
I can now only buy 2256 steaks. My purchasing power has declined by 27%.
Inflation insidiously steals your money slowly nudging you towards cheap nutrient sparse Industrial slop.
