I'm always struck by how there is zero recognition or sympathy by politicians, university heads, etc. that we just went through a pandemic, many of us know someone who died, a lot of kids missed multiple years of in person classes, many people were stuck at home and turned to the Internet for social support, and all of us have Been Through Some Shit recently because of it all.
