I just had a patch that I sent to the Ubuntu Kernel Team get (reasonably) rejected because I failed to send the patch itself as a reply to the patch intro, thus messing up email organization.
I attempted to resubmit said patch... and ended up submitting the patch intro as its own thing, and then two additional copies (yes, two!) of the patch as replies to the first copy of the patch, rather than as replies to the patch intro.
Sometimes email hates my very existence.
