Such an update is desperately needed so that immune compromised and other chronically ill people are able to assess the risks related to possibly contracting covid in healthcare settings and can plan appropriately to protect themselves. Such a change would also be benefitial to anyone else who works in a field that uses tracking data on acute respiratory illness."
