Have to say that the internet on the plane now is the absolute worst. Not technologically. It works fine enough. Even the free stuff lets you send IMs.
But flying east to west coast used to mean I had a few hours of peace to gather my thoughts, journal, read a book. Anything besides respond to the never ending deluge of notifications.
