Apple are sticking where they are because it sort of makes sense in the context of how they handle text in their system. As I recall, both pt and px are 1/72 inch on Apple operating systems, but the inch is slightly approximate. So for Safari, using px for opsz calculation is the same as using pt.\n\nIn other environments, of course, px is likely closer to 1/96 inch, or some other approximate measurement. So browser makers should be doing math, but apparently math is hard.",
