It's a big problem. I want to support smaller groups and local businesses and such, but they often lack some of the most basic organizational skills and customer service requirements. Partly it's because they don't have the experience. Partly it's because they don't have enough money for overhead. And partly, I suspect, there's a "eh, it's good enough" mentality.
It's frustrating. I'm of the mentality that one should not make excuses for poor work - one should try harder.
