You would have appreciated the conversation I had with the farmer down the road. I'm buying a side of his Scottish Highland beef and I asked him about the sign he had about Grid Gateway. I still don't know much because it's his sister's project, but everyone around here has signs against LS Power building a transmission line through people's land. I'm figuring they're going to build "renewable" wastelands north of here -- where there is excellent farmland -- and need transmission lines to send it to populous areas.

So what's the deal? Everyone buys EVs and then the government tells us -- as Germany did -- that there's not enough electricity so we need to stay home?
