Hey, since we’re revisiting the myth of Trump’s invincibility, would it be okay to revisit the 2016 GOP primary field? I once ended up on a right-wing campus reform website after I told a class (accurately) that it was a large field of extraordinarily weak candi da yes. They were a bunch of losers! The story of Trump’s takeover of the GOP is that they were (and are!) a Potemkin party led by a bunch of bullshitters.
