“Following the massive blackout, Spain’s five nuclear power plants (with seven operating reactors) have ceased electricity production for safety reasons.

The reactors have been shut down. Although they are no longer supplying power to the grid, the internal systems of each plant remain operational, with backup diesel generators running, according to Spain’s Nuclear Safety Council.”
