Thinking about keeping pet bugs again and I guess one benefit of most non-tarantulas having such short lifespans (1–2 years) and somewhat similar care requirements means I could switch from a mantis to a jumping spider or vice versa when they die. Still don't want to keep feeder insects and don't have any noncarnivorous bugs I really want to keep though lol
