Anyway, finally came out to my sister last night. Her response was all about her shock, not about my happiness. She asked very inappropriate questions, knowing my spouse was on speaker.
Clumsy “deadname, um Valerie” repeatedly. Would only call me “sibling”, never “sister”.
Tried to blame this on our abusive father.
Left me feeling gross & hurt. Maybe she’ll come around, but if she doesn’t, to hell with her.
