Podcasting 2.0 question:
Can a <channel> contain <item> AND <podcast:remoteItem> tags mixed together at the same level (not talking about podroll of VTS), or can a <channel> only contain <item> OR <podcast:remoteItem>?
If they can be mixed, maintaining a true "chrono order" doesn't seem possible since <podcast:remoteItem> doesn't have a pubDate field.
If they can't be mixed, then querying for only one or the other at a time should be fairly easy.
