1. That's not what I find fun. I'm solo generally - I don't like working with others and I know what I want so working with an artist to develop that is both expensive for their time and laborious. I hate character creation sheets and stuff like that outside of pure video games and so this is more of a negative to me.
2. You're never going to have an assurance against this. Doesn't matter who it is.
3. If I was happy with the slop I got for free I wouldn't be commissioning the artist!
4. Because those drawings aren't what I want, takes weeks if not months or more to gather, and I have to spend constant back and forth convos with an artist. Basically I'm going to ask you to redraw your image because I hate it a minimum of 10 times at least. Me using AI refs is not a slight against you its trying to save you from the monster that is "ME" and my perfectionism.
