The real meat in this clip of #AUStriches PM explaining their ban for under 16s on social media is him explaining that the Government are the ones who decide what is acceptable for children, not parents.
Parents hate nothing more than being told by someone else, completely unsolicited, how they should parent their children.

Under 16s will now be “banned” from accessing social media (including YouTube lol).

In reality they’re just going to force platforms to verify every user in Australia via Digital ID which is coming in December but is definitely “not mandatory”.
