"content": "Thanks for the reply, but that doesn't answer my question. I know what localhost is. The question is: Domain names can map to both IPv4 and IPv6 at the same time. In other platforms localhost maps to both 127.0.0.1 and ::1. Is there a reason why that is not the case as well on Ubuntu?",
