Anyone who doesn't understand AI, but sees it as a magic box believes that magic box can also handle jobs that they also don't understand.
Right now, there are business folks who know there are millions or billions to be made creating and promoting LLM-based tools that claim to eliminate the need for people in the loop.
While it may be impossible to push back 100% on use of AI tools, everyone should die on the hill that they should augment, not supplant people, and add value beyond the "We have AI" slapped on the box.
Anyone who believes otherwise will eventually find their own role replaced by a poor AI substitute.
