Checking out Writebook, the new web-based books software from 37signals. Was initially called Workbook. Looks interesting, it's basically a Rails app you install on your server -- maybe a static site generator would be more appropriate? Also, no export to Kindle, ePUB or pdf -- which might be the reason I don't end up using it, tbh. I like the idea of web-based books, but I think book readers need an option to read in a Kindle device (or whatever ebook reader they use).
