I heard an interview today with a woman named Loretta J. Ross, and I think she is my new hero. Like, what an absolute bad-ass she is. She is a lifelong activist/humanitarian, and someone that has intentionally repurposed unthinkable traumas into a force for good and helped a lot of people along the way.

I feel like every sentence she says could be it's own soundbite. The way she speaks is so eloquent and profound, and she does not mince her words. I think I swore to myself out loud several times listening to this interview because what she said hit me so hard. I teared up, I laughed, I was thoroughly engaged.

I am going to be reading up on her and her work this week, but in the meantime, I wanted to share this interview in case anyone else needs an emotional gut-punch from an extraordinary human.
