Ok I admit it, I'm a notorious skeptic.
18 year old Archie Gray is in. All things being equal his value should increase.
But...
This has Daniel Levy stamped through it like Brighton rock.
Irrespective of statements made, or Johan Lange, it'll be mid season before we can really tell if Ange sees him as a first teamer or a Danny Boy bench warmer who'll end up out on loan.
If this deal proves to be a genuine Ange pick I'll happily retract. Until then...
